About the Role
As an Account Executive at Alma, you will be at the forefront of driving growth for our innovative immigration legaltech platform. Alma is backed by leading VCs like Bling Capital, Forerunner, Village Global, NFX, NEA and Conviction and was founded by a team of Harvard and UCLA alumni. Your role will involve engaging with potential clients, building relationships, and delivering tailored solutions to help individuals navigate complex immigration challenges. Responsibilities
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from qualifying leads to closing deals.
- Tailor solutions to meet the needs of individuals seeking immigration services, building and nurturing long-term relationships with clients, guiding them through their immigration journey in tandem with our attorneys and presenting Alma's value proposition.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to follow up on leads generated through campaigns, webinars, and other events.
- Leverage CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot) to proactively manage pipelines, track sales activities, and generate advanced reporting.
- Track and report on key sales metrics, including conversion rates, pipeline health, and revenue targets.
- Work closely with Alma’s legal team to ensure seamless handoff and exceptional client experiences.
- Provide feedback to the product and marketing teams to enhance Alma’s offerings and messaging.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-haves:
- Proven success in a sales or account management role, ideally in a professional services or SaaS environment; 2-5 years of client-facing experience preferred.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field.
- A passion for helping immigrants and startups achieve their goals.
Bonus Skills:
- Familiarity with employment-based immigration processes and visa types (e.g., H-1B, O-1, EB-2).
- Experience using CRM tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar platforms.
